Which clip do you prefer TEST

Quick clips thrown together to test Hot Plate.

Tell me which you prefer. It is a MArshall JCM 800 2203. Stock.
One setting is master volume on 2 no Hot plate.

Other is Hot plate on -8dB and running at 4.5 MV.

The Hot Plate clip sounds a bit fuller with more punch. Do the two settings bring out the same volume level? And how loud is it?

I agree. Hp is running at -8 MV on 4.5

Clips without HP is MV on 2.

the first clip sounds better with the hot plate fuller and fatter

mind sharing the amp settings?

Settings are:

Pres: 3
Bass: 9
Mids: 5
Treb: 5
Gain: 10

I did a crap load more of tests if interested just same settings but various HP settings.

hp? I don't know what that is?!
Sounds like the b clips blend together better but with a thicker, not muddy bass response. Both 1/2//a/b are double tracked, right?
I liked B. I base this thought on the fact that it was double tracked.
