Which color?

Hey I've been checking out the Burns Brian May signiture guitar, and the more I look at it the less awkward it looks, I think I am going to sell my gibson les paul faded special for one. These things sound amazing with those burns trisonic single coils. So which color do you like the most? heres a link to an ebay listing, just scroll down to the pictures and there is a picture of all the different color guitars together.

the all black one looks kinda nice actually. however, the sunburst one does look really sharp.

the red and green pale in comparison IMHO.

ya, that sunburst is awesome. i will probably end up buying whatever color they have in the store, as long as its not the green one.

if you listen to the sound clips on musicians friend, brian compares the original red special to the signiture model and they sound identical. I've always been crazy about his tone

If you are going to get a Brian May guitar then there is only one colour that you should go for and that is red - the others pale in comparison, but the sunburst looks nice.

However I think that BIN price of $995 or even its opening bid of $895 is to much to pay, for what is a Korean guitar - in the UK typically you can get them for about $800 or less. But if you want to sound like the man then you will need the guitar, then the Deacy amp and of course 2 or 3 AC30 amps.

Yeah, that opening bid is kinda odd, since they sell brand new at Musicians Friend for $799.99.

I don't particular care for sunburst finishes for whatever reason. I like them on certain guitars, but I think the 2 black and red one looks REALLY sharp.

ya, the guy whos selling that one has a bunch of them listed. but the auction I had in the link was for a guitar with gold hardware which was why it was more. all of his other auctions for the other colors are BIN $750 but no one has bidded on them so you could get away with it for the opening bid of like $699. still not an awesome deal after shipping and everything.

I wouldn't mind sounding a bit like him, but not at the expense of those ac-30s!!haha the vox brian may special is an approved clone of his deacy amp and you can use it for recording, practice and for driving your amp. a pretty good deal for $150 new.
