Which combination of single-coils?

I got Custom 5 installed on my HSS mahogany guitar. It has maple neck with a quite flat-radius (10") rosewood fingerboard.

Now I'm thinking about putting SSL-2/APS-2 in the neck and mid position. Which of these combination do you think will work best/most versatile?

1. SSL-2 neck/SSL-2 mid
2. SSL-2 neck/APS-2 mid
3. APS-2 neck/SSL-2 mid
