which finish color?

Well, I've drooled enough over the Schecter Corsair being offered at Musician's Friend for a great deal right now, and have decided to pull the trigger on one of these babies. I kinda stuck between the two finishes they offer. I really like the 3-tone vintage sunburst and that vintage look, but the more I look at the black cherry and the way the chrome hardware sets out better with the darker finish, the more I'm leaning in that direction.
What do you think?

That is a very tough choice, IMO they both look great but I'm partial to the first one. Some guitars look good by themselves but when you strap them on they just don't look quite right. I think the red burst is that kind of guitar

I prefer the 3-tone sunburst. No particular reason - it just appeals to me more.

I voted black cherry, but if I was going to buy one, and all they had left was the 3-tone, I'd be perfectly happy with that, too.

I don't like the red ring on any sunburst finish, and this one is no exception. If it was 2 tone sunburst, then I'd get the burst. My vote goes to Black Cherry.

Black Cherry!!!! My SG X is Wineburst almost like blood with chrome Hardware as well. Nice guitar...

Just a quick update. Last Thursday I went to the local Guitar Center, who's a Schecter dealer, to test drive one of these babies but they didn't stock them for some reason. I still got the guitar for the M-F price though and ordered one with the Black Cherry finish. I just liked the way the silver hardware was highlighted against the darker finish, but it was still tough as I've always liked vintage sunburst.
I'll let you know how it plays and sounds when I get it.

Can't wait to hear how you like it. When will it be in? Waiting is the hardest part...I have NO patience.

Wow, two great finishes, dude. Hard to choose. I voted black cherry but that was really close.

Another quick update. Guitar Center just called to inform me that they can't get any Corsair models and that manufacture is being discontinued by the Schecter company, and that although they are affiliated with M-F (who still offers the guitar in both finishes for $449.99) they can't "cross-order." So, it looks like I'm going to have to go ahead and order from M-F which may take another 1-2 weeks for delivery. Bummer, but I still want this guitar pretty bad so I'm going for it again.
I'll let y'all know when I get it in my hands. Now that I have to reorder, I'm debating on the finish again....:smack: It IS a tough choice and now I'm almost leaning towards the sunburst, although I still think the black cherry really sets off the hardware.

Any last minute opinions people?
