Which Glue / Adhesive can i use to stick printed stickers to guitar tops?

Hey guys,

I want to put the same sticker on all of my guitars for branding. To flash my brand around every time i make a youtube video.

I want to make 20-30 stickers by printing them on thick glossy paper using a color laser printer.

Which adhesive do you think i can use that would allow me to peel off the stickers without damaging the finish. The guitars are a mix of real nitro, and poly finishes. I'm only really worried about 3-4 of the guitars, which are my main axes. The rest, i actually wouldn't even care if the paint would be damaged...

A lot of times, regardless of adhesive used, the ambient temp/humidity can make the adhesive cling too tightly.
So for example, if you store your guitar on a school bus and it is too close to a floor heater, the glue changes and the label is harder to peel off cleanly.

I'm guessing you don't want to use Goof-off on your more prized guitars?

use a damp vinyl static cling thingy

no adhesive

If you care about the finish that much, I would use Adobe Photoshop / Premier.

I agree, use static film, like the stuff that sticks to glass without adhesive.

+1 for static cling. Why would you want to intentionally put glue all over your prized guitars??

I am waiting for the post in 6 months "How do I remove stickers from my guitar without destroying the finish", Beau had the best solution, I would use Adobe Photoshop / Premier also. Just add the branding to the video not your guitar.

Gluing a piece of paper to your guitars?!!!

Are you kidding me?!

I want to carve my initials in my guitar using a butcher knife, but I want it to look professionally done and I want it removable.

1) Brand the video, not the guitar
2) wear a t-shirt in the video with the branding
3) put your logo on the head of the guitars you make, and make sure the headstock makes it into the video
4) hang a large backdrop with the branding on it
5) use do-it-yourself window decals, but you can't use them on a laser printer, so you'll need an inkjet printer. also, you'll need special window decal paper that has a white backing if you intend to put one on a black guitar.
