Which humbuckers will get the tone next to this?

I think these Music Man Axis uses Dimarzio pickups, but do you think a '59 (neck) and Custom 5 (bridge) will give me this? Or a 59'/59'?
It's a mahogany guitar, curly maple top, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and vintage tremolo bridge.

dont those axes have pickups very similar to a tone zone/air norton combo?
i reckon the sd equivalent might be 59/JB

Do you think the Dimarzio AT-1 on the bridge would make a good choice with the 59' neck?

Frankly speaking, I didn't like the highs that much, especially after he turned the vol all the way... I think with a Duncan antiquity HB that would have been much much nicher... Seriously...

I have the AT-1 and it is extremely close to the axis dimarzio pup in the bridge so you would want the air norton for the neck to match the tone of a ebmm axis

Dimarzio 36th Anniversary Set. Just put them in my PRS Sunburst 22. Omg they sound fantastic and got them in double creme!

AT-1 is a great pickup btw. Very Custom Custom ish

How crunchy does it get? Andy's tone is so oriented towards smooth lately, that I don't really hear any crunch. I like a pickup to be balanced and crunchy.
