Which is better in your opinion, the PATB-1 or PATB-2?

Okay, this will be my last PATB question.

Which pickup would be better in the bridge of my mahogany bolt-on guitar? The PATB-1 or PATB-2? Right now it has two full shreds because I haven't swapped anything yet.

I ordered a bunch of both kinds of the Parallel Axis pickups and originally intended to put a PATB-2 in the the bridge and the PATB-1n in the neck for cleans. But I'm starting to get the impression from reading your posts that people seem to prefer the PATB-1 over the PATB-2.

Should I just put two PATB-1's instead for my mahogany guitar?
Is the PATB-1 a better bridge pickup?

Just trying to avoid swapping again later down the road if at all possible. Thanks and sorry if the post offended or bored anyone.

Depends on what you play, the PATB2 is darker sounding with much more output, the PATB1b is a tad more clear but with less output. if you play high distortion stuff get the PATB2 i think, it would work better since it's ceramic for mahogany (brighter tone, good for metal)

I like the PA-TB1 better. But then, I tend to not like high output distortion pickups an prefer medium output pickups instead.

What don't you like about the Full Shreds?

I was looking for a thicker tone with a bit more bottom end than what I'm getting from the Full Shreds and it was recommended that I check out the PATB pickups. It seems that everyone who tries them loves them.

And that's my friend what you're going to get!I say once more ,no other SD can match the qualities of PATB on Mahogany guitars. It's like "magic"!
