Which is Hotter: FUll Shred, PAF Pro

HI,
I've got a Full Shred trembucker which I have never used before and a basswood RG with a PAF Pro in the bridge.

Which is hotter, the Full Shred or the PAF Pro? Whichever is hotter I will put in the bridge.

This is a cross brand comparison so maybe not so easy. I have a multimeter if there is a way to use it to tell -- let me know.

Thanks.

I'm not sure about power, but I'd put the trembucker in the bridge so that string/polepiece spacing will be as close as possible. Is the PAF Pro F-spaced?

I have used both the FSb and Paf Pro pickups, but not at the same time. My personal feeling is that the FSb is not voiced to be in the neck position, whereas the PAF Pro is.

For those two reasons, I'd go with the PAF Pro in the neck and the FS in the bridge.

Hope that helps.

I think the Full Shred would be hotter since the PAF Pro has low output and agression.

I have played both and there sint any doubt that the full shred is hotter! Its not a scorching pickup but, its hotter than the PAF pro.

The PAF Pro is gorgeous in the neck, that's where it shines IMO.

I think those both would make a great pickup set together. Plus with the black hex poles on both it would look great!
