I don't know what it is but you can get similar tones with an SL-X in a sec.

If you go Bugera, that will be expensive for sure

You can find a used SL-X somewhere around $400-$500. That is not too much for that I think.

But this song is one that Layne Staley wrote entirely by himself, so I think he recorded the rhythm guitar that starts off in the beginning, which is something I want.

Wow i dont know then? I just know what JC used back then, trust me the FISH will do "awesome dark and heavy rhythm tone" no problem but they are very pricey IF you can find someone willing to sell it!:laugh2:

Love the tone in this song and actually love the solo its intentionally horrible so maybe its the movie and the soundtrack rubbing off on me but school of rock was such a cool movie especially when it came out when i was like 14
