Which Noiseless strat Neck pickup?

I've got a Squier Standard Strat. I already like the overall sound. It may not sound like an American Strat, but it's totally in the same family. I really like the neck pickup position but annoyed by the noise. Positions 2 & 4 are nice, but not the same. At first, I'm just going to change the neck pickup, myself. I'm new but this seems like a straightforward mod. I can handle two unsolder and new solder tasks.

I don't really want it to sound like a total humbucker, ie Gibson, just a fatter, warmer Strat neck pickup that doesn't 'hum'. I play mostly bluesish and jazzish stuff, mostly a chord guy with some fills. Definitely NOT a lead guy.
Needs to drop right in.

Thanks!
Bob

welcome to the forum!

if you want it to sounds like a strat but not hum, a classic stack plus is a great choice. just a touch warmer and fatter than a vintage type single coil. if you want to go further away from the classic strat sound, there are plenty of options

Another vote for the Classic Stack. It seems like that is the one which fits your description the closest. It is also one of my favorite pickups, too.

You might as well drop a full set in there instead of just the neck. I have a STK 4 set in my Strat and theyre never coming out
