Which of these deals would you choose?

I'm thinking about selling my JCM800 (2210) and the cab 4x12. I recently bougth a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier. So far I've received these offers:

1. Exchange for a Rivera m100 http://www.finn.no/finn/bap/object?finnkode=10455106&sid=xz2aPcFbGD0355101&WT.svl=Link
I think this guy only means that he gets my JCM800 head and I the Rivera head.
2. The JCM800+cab for Mesa Boogie Mark 1 RE with Custom design/case (or something) + Budda 4x10-kabinett

3. And I have an offer of 667$ only for the cab (remember that gear prices are much higher in Norway than the US!)
4. Exchange the top for a ENGL Fireball top

- So which option sounds best? The problem is that I currently live in Belgium so I would not be able to check the amps out and have no clue how they sound. I'd might get someone to check them out for me though..
- I said that I recently bought a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Solo head. Which of the amps would have different qualities than this?
- Or should I not sell the JCM800 at all? I have no clue of how "good" it is or how well reckoned it is... But I don't use it that much for the music I play now.. Never been a huge Marshall fan either.. But anyway, I want to make sure that I'm not selling gear that I'd might be using when I get older.. And I don't want to sell something that might have a high value as times passes by...

Sorry for the long post.. Hope someone has a good piece of advice.

I think the question is, which JCM800? Because I'm pretty sure JCM800 refers to more of an era, than a specific amp. And some of them are a little more sought after than others. I'm not a JCM800 expert. I'm just aware that they're not all the same.

I saw a Marshall JCM 800 Modell 2203 to sale (used) in Norway for 14 000. If this is an ok price for this amp (in Norway, not US prices) would my 2210 be worth much less?

And a guy also offered me a ENGL Fireball in exchange for the JCM head.

Re: Which of these deals would you choose?

The JCM800 is a 2210. These were produced from 1983-1990. My model is from 1985.

It's a 100W Head with Split-channel, master volum og reverb.

Re: Which of these deals would you choose?

Don't be anxious to do anything. I'd probably pass on all the trades, and list the Marshall halfstack in the paper for a fairly high price, then sit on it till the right person with cash calls you. Ignore the lowballers and trade offers.

Just take the cash. Their stuff is decreasing in value, and yours is holding value.

that's good advice Jonsey... I wish I had hung onto my Marshalls...

Re: Which of these deals would you choose?

How much is a JCM800 worth in the US now? From the 80s?

I say give it to me, and in return, you'll get the pleasure of making somebody very happy.

2205 - $650
2210 - $750
2204 - $800
2203 - $900

Verticle inputs are usually a couple hundred more than horizontal inputs.
Earlier JMP's in good condition usually fetch a couple hundred more than grillcloth 800's.

I say listen to Jonesy, you don't wanna trade your amp for something you don't want/need, especially when you can sell it for a good sum.
