Which pick guard would look good??

I am going to be hot rodding my American Strat up, but I am not sure if i should switch out the pick guard or not. It is Olymic white (kinda cream colored) and has a white Pickguard on it. I have been thinking about getting a tortishell on it, but that almost looks too redish... Pearloid white just doesn't look right either. The only real problem i have with the stock one is that someone left the sticker on it for too long and it has a green spot below the middle and neck p/u's.

any suggestions??
THANKS!

Maple or rosewood neck? You might also consider a black pearl guard, those are very sharp with lighter colored bodies.

I'm something of a traditionalist, so I might considered replacing the pickguard with another white one. I like white on white. If not, you could go with a black pg, pups, knobs etc. and have a negative image of E.C.'s "Blackie."

I've seen some reddish tortoiseshell, but I've also seen some very brown too. You might look around. White goes with anything, so your options are limitless.

A 3-ply black/white/black pickguard looks good on a Vintage white guitar also:

That guitar has a pair of zebra's in it now, that make it look all the better.

my first strat (long since gone :( ) was white and i put a black/white/black guard on it and left the knobs and PU's white it had a real cool look to it...i'd go with that if you want a classy look. but for me, i'd go wild and do red pearl guard.

I'm putting a tortoise shell PG on my white/maple strat. Other colors I like (since you said they look too red) green tortoise shell (not sure what its called), black, or white.

Tortioseshell. I saw Kirk Hammett with a cream-colored strat with red tortoiseshell, and it was sharp.
