Filtertrons will give you the rockabilly, and traditional humbuckers will give you jazz.

Personally I'd go Filtertron myself.....I like the way they sound (on record - never tried them in person)

Yeah I left out a few by mistake... a Gibson 57 Classic in the neck and a TV Jones TV Classic at the bridge... I think that would sound pretty sweet... it would also sound good with a Seth Lover or a Low Wind Lollar Imperial in the neck with the TV Jones TV Classic at the bridge... I love the idea of the Lollar Charlie Christian combo I listed but that black PUP just wouldn't look good in my guitar which isn't the most important thing but hey, I want it to look good... and as a side note those Lollar PUPs are expensive!!! $165 a pop... or should I say pup :)

All right then, looks like I'm the first one to vote. I picked Seth's, one of the great PAF's ('57's are not). I'd also be quite content with Lollars. Phat Cats (I have a bunch) are very warm in the neck slot, like zero treble, maybe that's what you want, to sound like the amp's in a closet. I've swapped out the stock mags in all of mine. Bridge PAF's are relatively bright, and would have no problem doing rockabilly.

Actually, Filter'Trons can do a pretty good Jazz tone in the neck/Rhythm position, too. (I have a Fender La Cabronita Telecaster.) Check out the entire TV Jones range. Get something with the correct mounting fittings.

Phat Cat at the neck and a TV Jones Filtertron in the bridge. That will be the best for what you want.

Cyber twins are cool sounding and versatile, but if you are after a nice "feel" when you play, choose your favourite model and save up for the real version of that amp - then look at pickup swaps because you'll have a whole other level of interaction going on.

None of the above. Two Phat Cats, or, if you have money to burn, two Phat Staples.

Phat Cat necks are very dark, Staple necks are very bright, two extremes. I can't imagine how bright and piercing a bridge Staple would be. Nails on a chalkboard.
