Which pot value is recommended for JB Jr. neck?

Just got my Jb Jr. (neck) for my Strat.
I'm about to wire it up... My Strat has 250k volume and tone controls.
I have some spare 500k's lying around, so I could change them if needed.
What is recommended for the neck Jb Jr.?
Should I leave the 250k's in my Strat and wire it up?

Please help,
Thanks a lot in advance,

Andy

I'd leave the pots alone for the moment and see if you like the JB jr with the 250k pots.

I have always used the lil pickups with 500k's but, that is my taste and that is what the guitar dictated to me to use. If you use the 250's and it sounds good, keep them in there. If the pickups sound a bit dark for you, go with the 500's.

Exactly. :)

Thanks very much for the replies guys.
I installed the Jb Jr. and it seems a bit dark to me. I like the basic tonality very much, just wish it would be a tad brighter...
I don't have any other strings to change right now, so I'm gonna leave the axe this way for a day or two.
I'm wondering, should I just disconnect the pickup from the tone-pot (that would definitely brighten it up, right?) or should I put 500k's in the axe?
