Which Rat should I be chasing

So...fuzz pedals. I pretty much know what's up with the various interations of the Big Muff, but what about the ProCo Rat? What are the differences between the original, the reissues, the Rat II...?

Well, I posted this before I saw that announcement and believe me, I'm stoked about it and plan to get one, but I also wouldn't mind a Rat. The store I used to work for actually had a used one and sold it for $35. I've had ZERO luck finding another one that cheap.
