Which SD Forum member has the best clip?

Stratman

Guitaris Maximus
I had one posted about 7 months ago. Loose Blues - Ripped Still got the blues tune.

Let's hear feedback on whichh SD furom post had / has the best tone / tune.

Tone wise, it's got to be anything by VHoholic :notworthy

Tune wise.....:scratchch....mmm, I did like JOLLY's love song....

But hey, everyone who posts a clip be it a tune or tone, is a winner just for being brave enough to post:bigthumb:

I haven't fallen in love with anyone's tone here, but Evan's "Bad Mutha" is one of the coolest songs I've heard in an absolute sense, nevermind on these boards. Lots of people here have insane ability at playing guitar, but I've not heard a song with anywhere near as much mojo as "Bad Mutha" on these boards.

I also like Kelly Shredder/Maestro alot too, he's a giant inspiration to me. Every other good guitarist I've heard is an adult, and I think "well, they've been playing for a long time, so them being so good is justified", but when I hear Maestro I just get inspired and realize talent doesn't come only with age.

Thirdly, Buck cannon simply blows me away, their Hey joe cover is easily the best Hendrix cover I've ever heard and how how their guitarist (donzo, right?) and the keyboardist work off of each other is pure magic.

Speaking of which Stratman, you really need to post some more clips. Loose Blues was some of the best, most soulful playing I've ever heard and I really feel like I'm missing out on something by not being able to hear any more of your stuff.

Man, there have been so many amazing styles posted here that I would hate to reduce it to some weird contest of what is the best. Really been fun hearing what you all do, accomplished or not. As a player I appreciate those who create and have the guts to share it.

i have lots of favorites here. ill list some, but im sure im missing someone, so sorry if i am.....

gomano
kevlar3000

scott lerner

I agree with Kevlar3000. The different styles keep it interesting.

One person who always amazes me is Maestro, because that kind of talent is very rare in a 14 year old.

This is the thanks I get for playing when I am buzzed!

I do really appreciate your kind comments, and I will be posting some newer material soon.

It's impossible for me to deem any clip "better" than another. Some are fun to listen to, some are educational, etc, etc... I just appreciate the fact that Y'all take the time to put em together for our enjoyment !!! Thanks !!!

I don't remember the name.... I want to say Alex... They have a VH-4 and some really crazy skills. Posted Satriani and Vai clips that are just... unbelievable. But like has been said, I really enjoy all the clips. I try to get to listen to as many of them as I can, as I can learn from all of them.

Marinblues is great !!!

Jolly and Steve_R have nice tunes too

Peace Machine (Gomano) does a fine job too

VHoholic has a huge tone ...

in fact, the Tips & clips board is more and more instructive to me

As far as tone goes, I would also have to say VHaholic...he sounds like the second comming of EVH...amazing..I can't stop listening to the clips he posted over at plexi palace!

as far as tunes goes...I don't think I've listened to enough of them to give a good enough opinion...yet =D

I just hope that when I get my recordign set up, well, set up again that I get half of the positive feedback when I can post things up here!

There are many great players in here. I have to say that this is probably one of the (if not the) most outstanding hide-out of excellent players. The only other place I can think of that can rival what we have here is the telecasterforum.

I don't want to pick a particular forumite to be the coolest. You guys all are. In terms of the music I like (and this is not about guitar playing abilities, but obviously there is some positive correlation) let's just say I don't miss any of JOLLY's, Robert_S's clips.

I will be posting real soon now...

You all will like the tone and monster riff that are being played!
