Which SD Humbuckers are available with..

The Nickel covers and "short legs".

Looking to upgrade the pups in my new PRS. The HFS is a little too hot for my tastes and I like the VB, but I want to add some color contrast w/ the nickel covers (thinking of replacing all the knobs too with nickel/silver)

Seth Lovers and Antiquitys come stock with covers, and as far as I know everything except an Invader, and a Dimebucker can be ordered with covers

Don't know yet...prolly order them online or through my local tech. Think I would just like some more contrast color-wise on my new PRS. It's Royal Blue with black knobs, pups, and pup rings, and the rosewood board is very dark too. I think by going with nickel covers and similar knobs it will brighten the guitar up a bit (aesthetically) and really pull out the figure of the wood.

Seth Lovers and Antiquitys come stock with covers, and as far as I know everything except an Invader, and a Dimebucker can be ordered with covers

Thank you for the info. I was thinking maybe a 59 or Custom5. Something with less output..a bit warmer to replace the HFS in the bridge.

Gearjoneser uses a 59n and a C5b in his PRS guitars and he has covers! He also loves that combo...I know you said the neck was fine but maybe you'll like it too!!!

Well the sound of the VB is fine, but I think the guitar would look silly with one nickel cover and the stock pup together. I'm anal like that, so I'd swap it anyways

Yeah, it's a Custom 24 w/ HFS and VB..no dragons. 2 black coils for each.
