Which Single Coil Sized Humbucker ?

I am breaking down and putting a mini humbucker into my strat.

I have a 75 Les Paul with a Duncan Custom in the bridge and a 59 in the neck. I have yet to hear a better guitar.

I guess my taste lean towards a PAF sound like Van Halen & AC/DC. However I really love the modern rectifier type tones that are low end chunky.

The Little '59 seems to have the tonal response of the Duncun Custom but less output. The hot rails seem to have to drive I'm looking for. I heard someone with a hot rails do a cover of an Back In Black and it sounded pretty good to me. Wish I could get the tone of a Little '59 with the output of the hot rails.

Any thoughts ?

Hot rails are far more versitile than they are given credit for. I can get a great Trey Anastasio tone with them. They can bite.... oh man, can they bite. But soloing is really creamy. They have a distinct tone, which I love. But the lil 59 and JB Jr I'm not really a fan of. The cool and hot rails are the way to go IMO.
