Which Strat Middle PU For My Telecaster?

I'm looking for a middle strat pu to fit in my tele, i have the Mason style 5/2 in the bridge and mini humbucker in the neck. I'm looking to get a decent B/Middle honk......i've tried an hot strat stack but i thinks its too overwound and does not give much honk. SSL1, SSL2 what do you suggest, would a R/Wound be best for hum cancelling?
Any help greatly appreciated...

i think the ssl1 is a great option. rw/rp is the way to go for humcancelling

Another option would be the 5/2 for strat with RW/RP.

To clarify: when you're using a RWRP in the middle of a Tele. Since Tele sets are hum cancelling when on together, if one wanted a hum free middle pickup (like a strat one) do you get the RWRP or regular polarity (is the tele neck or bridge the reverse wound one?)?

I tend to like a hotter pickup in the middle position as long as it's not really middy and keeps the Strat tone; just louder. I like this because I can keep it at a lower profile and it doesn't get in my right hand's way.

thats a different ball of wax. vik has a tele pup and a minibucker so the rw/rp should work fine. with your setup its a little harder. are these duncan pups?

Thanks for the welcome, i'll most likely go for the SSL1 RW as its no doubt the easier pickup to find here in the uk, but i also see if there's a Strat 5/2 around.

ssl52-1 is the normal one, not sure what the rw/rp is
ssl52-1b is the hotter bridge model

The ssl 1 seems a bit short on the ground here in the uk, would the ssl52-1 give similar mid position results?
