Hey guys,

Since I have a definite list of Teles I could go with, I decided to delete my previous thread Teles, Teles, Teles, & more Teles...

I thought I'd just make it a poll. Please vote and explain your vote of you would. Also, if you can think of another model, please list it.

Cheers,

Re: Which Tele For Me???

I reckon, from what you said in your other thread, that the Nashville Tele would give you more options for swapping around the configuration to suit your needs, Butch.

Re: Which Tele For Me???

I'm not sure what you're asking. But the '50s Classic series has good traditional Tele specs. 21 vintage fret "C" neck, 3-saddle bridge, 7-1/4"R. fingerboard...

Hey Pete, basically I want to hear other players' opinions on which model Telecaster would best suit me.

Yes, I agree. I have owned quite a few Telecasters and I have routed the pickup cavities of all of them to have the universal route.

Re: Which Tele For Me???

I went with the B Bender. Why? That is how you get that classic tele honky tonk sound.

My second pick, the hwy 1 by a slight hair over the deluxe series Nashville.

Re: Which Tele For Me???

D'oh! I voted for the Highway 1 and I looked over the Nashville Tele in blonde! The Nashville Tele is EASILY one of the coolest sounding and playing guitars ever. I've played a few of them and they all stunned me! It was between one of those Nashville Teles and a Classic 60's Tele for me. I went with the 60's for traditions sake. I can't say I went wrong, but one of those Nashville Teles will be mine one of these days (especially that blonde one!)

Re: Which Tele For Me???

I voted baja, the neck pickup sounds amazing. And its my favorite neck profile - the boat neck. One of my favorite teles

Re: Which Tele For Me???

American Designer Series.

It's what I have.

Fender only made 250 of them though, so it might be a little hard to find. Nothing better though. I'd pay the $1500 100 more times.

Re: Which Tele For Me???

Those are all nice choices. Before you buy a Tele be sure to give a G&L, Asat Classic a try!

Re: Which Tele For Me???

If you like a beefy neck the Baja is tough to beat. Killer guitar with a 4-way S-1 switch making lots of tone combos.

I love mine, best bang-for-buck ever.

Hey Carrot, yer right, those necks are great. Yours looks pretty killer!!

Re: Which Tele For Me???

Wow, I just checked the poll. The Baja is tied with the Nashville. Cool! I like that Baja Tele...

Re: Which Tele For Me???

I voted Baja. It has really nice specs, and not all typical tele specs. Cool to already have the 4-way switch and nocaster bridge pup. If not the baja, then I'd say the Nashville because you like having 3 pup Teles.

No matter which one you go for, get it in honey blonde!!

I would really like to keep it a traditionally classic 2-pickup Tele. I have my Morse model which has 4. I get enough from that. I also agree that with the 4-way and the S-1 switch, I should be able to get what I need....

Re: Which Tele For Me???

Butch, might have missed it - but are you buying them in a store or just ordering online?
Telecasters are pretty basic guitars, so the little they have on them matters a lot. I'm for trying them before buying...

Anyway,
The Highway 1 Texas has killer specs - but they've never imported them to Israel...
