which tele stack for thinline

This one is routed out on the bottom so the cavity cant really be shielded so i decided to use either vintage or hot stack but not sure which one.
I like the bite and twang of a SD broadcaster but want a bit thicker sound. I also like the hot lead but still not quite thick enough.

I guess I wamt a thick twang if you can get such a thang
i reckon the hot rails would be way too dark for me
i play trad rock, blues and country

love to hear from anyone whos got v stak and h stack as to how they sound

I have owned both and like the VS better. That said, I prefer the VS because I play more Country and Pop. The HS doesn't twang enough for me; but it works well for others. If the HS isn't thick enough for you, and you want a Duncan Stack, you might go for a Lil 59. It's full like a PAF with some twang. You could also wire it to go from series to parallel. That way, when in parallel mode, you get more of a brighter, cleaner single coil tone with the hum-canceling. If you split it, you lose the hum-canceling.

I have a hotstack in my MIM tele. I have never tried the the VS but I might change it over to a lil 59, hot rail or chopper T. There are not enough mids for me coming from the bridge.

from the comments sounds like vs may be it
not sure about complicating the onboard controls though with a 59
would the VS be roughly equivalent the broadcaster or STL2??
or a whole new ball game??
I realise vs gonna be thicker than the 54 lead....
