Try to get one of those Ash teles off e-Bay. Honestly, from what you described in your first post, you'll LOVE it. And I mean come one, Natural finish and butterscotch/Honey blonde are the ways to go. My Tele is Sunburst, which is still really nice, but I still want to get a Light Ash Tele (and swap out the bridge for a Vintage '54 or Broadcaster). They're mmade in either Mexico or Japan. I've tried a few in stores and I wanted to buy 'em so bad. THIS SUMMER!!!!

Looks like you'll be spending a fair bit of time on Ebay over the next few weeks!! Good luck with your search. I'm building myself a Tele at the mo, next stop, pickups and wiring!!

Ok well thanks everybody for your opinions I'm now really looking forward to trying to win the one with the tortoiseshell pickguard it looks sweet and nobody's bidding yet :)

Thanks. Certainly a lot better price than the other one is up to. I certainly will let you know, I'm going to try and get something recorded as well so you can all have a listen.

That's the best tele that fender produces IMO. Comes with SD pups and it's VERY nice lookin'.

Congrats! Very nice guitar.

:-D she arrived this morning really nice, hardly a scratch on her, sounds brilliant, plays brilliantly hardly any fret wear as well which is cool, anywho here's a clip, sorry for the poor chops I haven't really done her justice.
