WHICH two tubes to pull on a 4 tube Rivera Tre Top?

Talking about power tubes here. Inner pair? Outer pair? 1st and 3rd? 2nd & 4th?

I will assume it is built like all other 4 tube amps I have worked on.....I do not see why it would make a difference if you run the inside or the outside pair.
Your amp will want to see 2x the impedance.
If it is running at 8 Ohms, you will need to select 4 Ohms on the Amp.
Or if it is running 2x8 Ohm speakers in // for 4 Ohms, you will need to get 8 ohms worth of speakers in there...which could be just running One of the 8 Ohm speakers.
Or you can just run the mis-match, people do that all the time, even though it is not "right".

I've always pulled the outside two, although inside two, 1 & 3, or 2 & 4 will apparently work, since it's just got to have one on each side. I thought the last two scenarios were wrong until I'd seen it work fine in someone else's amp.
