Which wah(s) do you use?

I just bought a Vox Clyde McCoy Wah (used), which I love, but it makes funny squeak-sounds when I use it the first 5 minutes, and then it almost disappear. What can I do to get rid of it? Can I just oil it? If so, which oil?

Mine did the same thing, only on mine ... if I used it everyday then it wasn't much've an issue. I got rid of mine, but they aren't bad sounding wahs ... just not as good as Teese ...:smokin:

Re: Which wah(s) do you use?

Morley Bad Horsie for me. I mainly got it for the switchless wah and buffer. I don't like its sound that much. Modded it a good amount, but with a better inductor I think I could really like it.

Re: Which wah(s) do you use?

^I emailed Morley and Bill gave me a pdf with some good "mods" (I can't really call them mods since you don't change any components). Those were pretty good for tweaking it, but I did some of the mods from http://homepage.ntlworld.com/s.castledine/greenfuz/wah.html . Not extrememly advanced or secret, but they made it sound better too. I'm just not too fond of the general character of the wah.

Ah ok. I've got that same pdf from Morley :) I'm trying to figure out how to do some of those same dunlop/vox style "standard" mods on my Morley PWA.
