which way to set pickup ?

hey all , i have a duncan humbucker pickup an older one that im installing .

my question is which way do the pole pieces go toward the other pickups
does the screws stay toward the bridge ?

im not sure since the middle pickup is a single coil which is reverse wound ?
or if it even matters .

The normal way is screws towards the bridge. Doesnt matter if the single is reversed or not

thx for the reply , but i forgot to mention that there is seyour dunncan
engraving on the back of the pickup if i turn the screws toward the bridge the name is
upside down in the pickgaurd .

so it just makes me wonder if that was the way it was intended to be installed was screws turned other way .

Ah ok so do you have a neck version of a humbucker? Do you have a small sticker on the bottom that says like DDJ or something else? Which side does the cable come out of the baseplate? usually the cable points towards the bridge.

there is a sticker that says DCJ , and if the name is upright in the pickgaurd screws toward neck the wire is in the top right corner .

Its a duncan custom. put the screws towards the bridge and enjoy =)
