Which Wiring Diagram for me??

hey guys,
Soon I will be getting a Duncan pickup (Duncan Custom SH-5) to put in the bridge of my Epiphone Lespaul.

My Epi has 2 volume, 2 tone and 3 way switch. But when I look at the list of diagrams, it has more then 1 diagram for that type of controls. Some say somthing Split??

Which one do I need??

Use that schematic but ignore the split switch on the bridge pickup and insulate the red/white wires from both humbuckers.

Robert,
That diagram says its for 2 humbuckers, 2 vol, 1 tone.

I have 2 tone knobs, not 1.

One question.. what would I use best to Insulate the Red/White wires?? I dont want to cut them or cut their Stripped ends.

You need to solder the white and red wires together and then wrap the solder joint with electrical tape.

Ahhh alright!! will do that for sure. Will shrink wrap work better then electric tape?

What are the White and red cables are for originally??

those red and white wires are for each coil. if they are apart then you have a split sound (single coil from a humbucking pickup). if you solder them together you have a working humbucker, good luck

Aahh... Excellent stuff!!
