whitening neck bind

Hi. I got a v350 and I noticed the binding is perfectly white between the 19th and 24th fret (where the thumb cant reach) on one side of the neck, and the rest of it is kind of creamy/bone white (on both sides). seems like the binding "yellows" in the areas where there is contact with sweat and skin (thumb and fingers).

Is there a way to make that creamy white more white?

I don't think so, since the plastic is naturally changing in color, however I'll go out on a limb and suggest teeth whitening strips. LOL

in other words, peroxide, I'd say try it!
