Yeah since it needs many things hopefully a shop could do your spot repair when they do the frets, good luck it's a good looking guitar!

FYI, the Minwax lacquer is nitrocellulose and dries much quicker than Deft.

If you plan to drop off the guitar to have the fret work done, they should be able to smooth out the chipped edge. You could easily do the same with some paper. Probably 800, 1000, and then a buff. If you don’t have that stuff, just have the shop do it.

I’ve decided that because of the dinged fret, I need to bring it to my local luthier for a new fret and to have a complete level and recrown.
I’ll talk to him about the issue with the lacquer too.
THEN....it’s officially up for sale.
