...and what are your thoughts about the guitar? Does it play well? Does it hold in tune well? Does it sound good?

Share your experiences please as I am currently looking at a few guitars that I would like to buy, but I can only have one. ;)

I think the Damien and the Agile are the sexiest - even though I wouldn't play a 7-string guitar. As a matter of fact, if I wasn't such a Jackson whore I'd probably be a Schecter whore instead.

But what are you looking for in a guitar?


But with what you have posted i'm guessing a metal guitar.

All of them look like designs that either aren't quite there or have been done to death. Most of them are at least okay, but I wouldn't call any of them sexy.
But as we know from the Sound Room, sexy is in the eye… pants…(?) of the beholder.

To be fair, I think that most of the guitar designs have been done to death except those that look exceptionally unique and can only be found in batches of a few ever made, but maybe that is the $500 budget that stopped me.

I have looked at Jackson, B.C. Rich, Dean, Schecter, ESP, and Ibanez, and pretty much every other brand Drum City Guitarland has to offer and I wasn't impressed by many and those that impressed me were way out of my price range and will be for some time.

The simplicity of my purchase is based on comfort first, playability second, looks last, but nonetheless important. That means I want good upper fret access, no less than 24 frets and a 25.5" scale. The only guitar that defies this on the list is the Ibanez ART320 because its finish and shape caught my eye. Still, I went with the 24 frets and a 25.5 scale.

Still, long story short, I guess asking which guitar looks good that defies the done to death Gibsons, Fenders, or Jacksons, which are quite comfortable to play, with one exception; a different finish, is quite worthless to ask because it's not a sexy looking classic.

Considering, I like 24 frets, 25.5" scale and good upper fret access, Schecter could not have nailed it better than Gibson in all areas and if Daisy Rock guitars that resemble Gibsons were marketed under the Gibson name, I'm pretty sure many of you would be playing those.

So I guess it all comes down to the eye of the beholder metaphor or some people have their heads stuck in the past's ass. I am sure that there is a fair share of both. I stand in the defense of new things as they constantly change and are improved upon and new things are nice opposed to the same **** imposed on people for so many decades.

Now comes the most important point of this post: so unless someone gives me money for a custom made guitar that will be pleasing in every aspect to me, as well as, all of you, STFU. :)

No, but seriously, even though everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, I hope some of you guys are not 'outdated' as everywhere else that I go to review these guitars, people respond positively and give constructive criticism.

In my mind the sexiest guitar is LP Custom Black Beauty,but at gunpoint and if I have to choose one of above then I'd go with Schecter Solo.
The Ibby LP one is hideous looking :D

None of the above.

True, none of them are really my flavor, but that selection seems pretty boring. Even ESP/LTD uses similar designs but look less boring to me...

Of those options, I'd be more concerned about playability and sound. If sexy is what you're after, look elsewhere.

I had one if the natural RGA121 and loved it (except the neck profile). A carved top RG? Yes please. I voted for the RGA, no contest.
