Who here builds pedals?

And, would you be interested in building some for me? :D

I have a problem with depth perception, and when I start trying to focus on soldering small parts I get dizzy. (Not sure if it's the same issue or not.) It's gotten to the point where I wire up my guitars using electrical tape and existing wires and crimp connectors.

I'd really like to try out a Dr Boogey pedal, as well as the Soldano and Okko Dominator clones. Basically anything that can double as a high gain preamp. (I mean HIGH GAIN. The Brown Sound In A Box does not have high gain.) No need to decorate the boxes, I think I can paint. :cool2:

Re: Who here builds pedals?

By the Soldano do you mean the GTO preamp? Or the newer slostortion types?

I'd offer to do it for you but international shipping can be a real headache and I know there are a few others on here in the states that are more than capable.

I believe there's one based on the DR Boogey with a Soldano flavor:

I know some people have also modded the Dr Boogey to sound like a 5150, that one would be awesome as well. :D

Re: Who here builds pedals?

The Dr boogey on its own can be a lot of fun. I actually know someone who builds pretty nice pedals that is selling one.

I really like the GTO but its more of a valve preamp in stompbox format than a straight up pedal. I only know of one place that does PCBs for it too.

You can check the guy I mentioned out here

Re: Who here builds pedals?

Let me know, I build amps/pedals and random other stuffs. A kit build is not too troublesome.
