I think dimarzio's arent as raw as duncans, the ones ive tried paf pro and breed, i found more suit heavier styles of music or when you want to use a fair amount of gain lots of mids quite thick and equed differently. Theyre nice for those rock tones but i prefer duncans. Still really good pickups tho. Hust a matter of taste.

Not sure if I should say this here, but I have more DMZ's than Duncans! The Duncans I have I really like, but I'm really into rail-type pickups and Dimarzio have more in their catalogue to satisfy my needs. If Duncan bought some different SC rail pickups out, I would definitely buy into some.

The 59 / Super Distortion set in my Warmoth enables me to get all the old-fashioned clean/light distortion tones and all the hi-gain soloing/riffing sounds that I've had in my head at the flip of the switch. If my amp is dimed on all the knobs and I just play an Em chord with the Super D...oh man i need to go play
