Who is Bugera?

Re: Who is Bugera?

I'd take an Orange or Blackstar ... The lower priced tube amps are still of Chinese manufacture, but just seem to be overall better built.

Who is Bugera?

Doubt if that's going to happen, but you never know.........Good Luck!

Hey man, anything can happen. Thanks! I'm trying to get rid of my spider. Or I may just keep it. Maybe mod it ;)

Didn't feel like dragging a cab to practice last night so I used the Bugera 4x12 in the studio. I was pleasantly surprised the cab sounded great with my DSL. It was my first time using anything Bugera and a pleasant experience.

If it's one of the more recent ones, they are using Turbosound speakers. I also think Music Group owns Turbosound. At any rate, supposed to be an upgrade from the old drivers.

Re: Who is Bugera?

I really loved the tone of the V22 and thought the 333XL was an incredible amp for the price–just didn't care for the 3rd channel (the high gain just seemed like a muddy version of the 2nd channel, but that was just to my ears.) Yes, they are not made of the best material...but they are not priced as such. IMO, great tone for the price.

I also really like the Berhinger V-Amp–have Pro (rackmount) along with my Line 6 Pod Pro. I feel like the Line 6 gets a better drive/distortion tone while the Berhinger gets a better clean and crunch tone.

Actually looking at getting a V22 this weekend.

Not sure if my cab has the old driver's or turbosound drivers, but it sounds great. They (drivers) really need a decent break-in though... there's a big transformation after that. They go from flat thin & fizzy (out of the box) to really sweet 3D & full-bodied after break-in. I use my 333XL with my straight Bugera 4x12 at home and a Marshall 1960B at practice/on stage & it sounds fantasic through both ..don't even need to re-tweak/fine-tune my EQ going from one to the other.
