we advertise those on our site, they're not free but seem pretty comprehensive
the only other pedal mod sites I've seen on the net were for Cry Baby wah's, not just for true bypass though - things like 'vocal mods', gain mods etc

Yep. John has modded a bunch of my pedals and, IMO, he gets the best tone out of TS-9's that I've ever heard. He's modded a few for me and also a few Vox wah wahs. John seems to like alot of the same tones I like. :beerchug: Lew

I got my Sparkle Drive back from Robert Keeley and am extremely happy with the results. There's more usuable gain, and the effect is much more natural and transparent. Read his website regarding the mod....it actually does what he claims it to do.

Mike from AnalogMan modded my Small Stone so the volume doesn't drop when engaged. Great work from him as well.

I've modded quite a few of these pedals and to date,it is my absolute favorite TS clone...It is a TS in every way with the added clean control...

Guys: John's the best! He has great ears and great technique and he made my old and new Vox wahs sound as good or better than my Fulltone Clyde and my TS-9's sound as good or better than my TS-808.

STRATDELUXER97 is the man you seek. Very friendly, knowledgable, and his mods sound awesome. I just got my Sparkledrive back and I have one of his DS-1's and I will post a review in a couple of days after I put them through their paces. My initial thoughts are that these pedals definitely will hang with the "boutique" models and then some. :beerchug: :dance: :wave:

I'll vouch for Johns work. I've got 3 pedals he's modded and another one coming back to me as we speak.
He actually convinced me to send him my TS9DX, which I was actually going to unload on ebay for probably a loss. I figured for the bargain price I had very little to lose.
I'm glad I did; his mods made the pedal TOTALLY usable. Like, all four modes were usable. I almost hate taking the pedal to gigs because I know the sounds that are in there and the temptation to mess with settings when I should just be playing can be a bit much.
I wouldn't hesitate to send just about any pedal I know he mods to him for work JUST on reputation withough the need to hear clips or descriptions. I'd totally buy blind from the guy. His reputation among fanatics like myself has been well earned around here.

I don't charge you guys enough to do repairs and I pretty much only do mods to working pedals...I just can't spend like 2 hours or more diagnosing a pedal,especially something like a $40 Boss DS1....
If it's something simple like a bad switch or pot I'm ok with that,but please no DOA pedals! :smack: :beerchug:

John Spina , Analogman and Keeley are all great! I`m gonna give the nod to John since he`s right here on the forums with us and always PMs you with details on your pedals, his mods are fantastic. Great service from all three but we`ve got a little token here on the forums in John Spina!

Oh they work! Due to me being such a great uncle:newangel: my nephew has a Spina TS-9,DS-1 and SD-1. He`s 16 , plays metal and doesn`t have a lot of cash so I try to help him out. I tell ya , a Spina SD-1 through a cranked JCM 800 playing "Sweet Leaf " sounds pretty ....LOUD!
