Yes it sure does, I thought it would be a harsh sounding pu, but it is very fat and has that great middy bite.
Great sound.

Steveo nice stuff. I like the mids of the DD. Is the DD your main (fav) pup? do you have a SH-5?

Yes I have the sh5 but it's not really for me. It's not a bad sound but it just does not apeal to me, for my style.
I am hooked on the Seth Lover bridge right now because I am on a classic rock kick. For heavier rock, I really like the DD though.
I have clips of the sh5, CC and C5 if you'd like to hear them.

Hi Stevo I would defnitely be interested in the SH5, CC, and DD playing the same riff at the same amp settings. That way you really get a good idea of what each really sounds like.

Well Stevo I was leaning towards the SH-5 for my new LP Standard. but man that CC on the power chord clip was huuuuuge sounding. Reminds me of Sabbath War Pigs almost but bigger. The solo is that the CC also? Sound big as well as a lead.
Would love to hear the Custom with same amp settings.

and very nice playing on Big coat man... do you have a drum machine or is that a real drumer?

could you arrange a really high gain riffing clip with the DDb? i'd like to hear what it has to offer hehe
