I did not order one but got one of Bach2Rock's creation second hand with an A2 magnet. It is now installed in the bridge position of my Explorer. My first impression is that it has a lot of snap to it. That shouldn't be confused with being overly bright or too much treble.
Very responsive with a lot of singing character. I was really surprised about how good it sounds and can't believe it took me this long to put something with Custom in the name in one of my guitars.

If you want a bit more snap or bite to it, try an A5 mag in it. I've currently got an A5 in mine and it sounds great. My guitar is not an overly bright guitar, it's very middy and smooth so I might try an A8 in it to get a little more snap.

You might hear some slight extra hum because of the coil mismatch,but otherwise a great pickup! I was using a 59/c hybrid in one of my strats for awhile,but went back to S/S/S in that one.

No extra hum unless I really pushed the pre amp channel on my old JMP (but that amp hums like that regardless if something is plugged in or not).
The explorer is a 2008 model and I believe it's chambered quite a bit. The A2 is really snappy as it is so I don't think I'm going to change it. I may go to an A8 at some point but I'm digging the sound as is.

I ordered one from Banjomike, TB-16 Zebra. It's expected to arrive at his place around the 10th of this month (estimated delivery). Once it arrives he'll ship it out to me and I'll of course install it and post some pretty pictures and whatnot. :cool2:
If you want something from him besides what you see online it's easier to just call him up and deal with him directly. He's very friendly and can hook you up with your pickup needs very easily.

I received one from the Australian distributor for SD yesterday for review. I'm looking forward to checking this out. Just gotta finish off my testing of the DiMarzio Dominion bridge first before I can load up the new SD.

I've been using an original Bach 2 Rock A5 version, which was made from two older MJ labeled pickups. It's never been removed from my alder/rosewood strat since it went in.
I'll be getting a new black TB version for a humbucker/mini hum telecaster I'm dialing in.
It's pretty much exactly what you'd expect it to sound like, being half Custom 5 and half 59B.

Zebra creme and black coils or white and black? I get most of my pickups from Mike but I still haven't heard back from him on the hybrid
