Has anyone tried the bridge hybrid with A2 or A4 mags? If so, what are your thoughts on these variations?

Ask Bach2Rock. I believe he has an a2 in his. Says its similar to the 78 but with a bit more crunch I think.

I have a CS version with double screw poles in my Steinberger. I use it for fusion-y stuff, with a light overdrive into a clean amp. Sounds delicious.

Most of mine have A2 with a A4 in a couple... I think I might have A5 in one of the two I made with Invader pole pieces... that's a crunchy pickup! A5 sounds great in the JB/Custom Hybrid...

Anybody try it on an mahogany body set mahogany body w/ an ebony fret board? The one I have is a bit muddy and I'd like to bring out the upper mids ...
