Sorry if I spelt his first name rong, Sweedish names are not second nature to me lol. I went today, who else went? I think I went and sat next to someone from here, they were talking about the Seymor Duncan forums and a thread about the clinic today. If you read this, I'm tall, white, dark brown shaggy hair, glasses, and I had a cane, and black shirt and jeans on. It was amazing, everyone needs to check this guy out. www.freakkitchen.com

I saw Mattias play for a Laney amp demo, and even got to talk to him a little bit afterwards. And that guy is as friendly and nice as he is talented. His playing... i didn't know whether to pick my jaw up off the floor or laugh my ass off. GREAT stuff!

I asked him how he developed him style and he simply said, "I put far too much sugar on my Cheerios!"

my friend asked him if he'd been developing his own thing the whole time he'd been playing, or if he ever copied other players...apparently he's always found it easier to write his own stuff, since the very beginning.

he also kept going on about "grow your own moustache" as a metaphor for developing your own style. also kept talking about nose hairs, rotten fish, the swedish woods, kerry king *RAAAH*, and why it's more fun doing what he does than singing about the importance of Steel.

Metal Warrior, I remember your friend asking that question. I'm always going to remember how Eklandh said 'You must grow your own Mooostache!"

I've been a Freak Kitchen fan for years now and they sooooooo need to get a foot hold over here in the States. Killer band. Mattias co-hosted None Radio last week with Mike Keneally. It starts airing the 31st I *think.* Check it out at www.noneradio.com.

Well Mr. Eklundh just got signed to Steve Vai's record label and I believe his new solo CD is coming out in April, here in the states. I need to talk to my friend Eric, the guy who got Eklundh to come to Berklee, I wanna see if they jjammed out together!
