Heh, the original tubes were Sylvania STR-387's, you could probably sell them and get back 1/3rd of the initial purchase price. And the cabs have all G12K-85's. And it's an awesome amp, if you like loud, clear, loud, and upper mids, and loud.

I dont think ive seen a full stack of one of those in 20 years... you see pieces and parts floating around.. but the whole shebang with covers and tubes... thats pretty cool

They are ugly, but the amp goes straight into a 5150/XXX headshell. I might end up doing that with mine, but I'm starting to embrace the ugly.

I don't think it's that ugly. Sure, it doesn't look modern boutique or even aspirational cool, but you guys had me expecting some kind of PA-looking nightmare. :lmao:

Those were the bass amps. They're actually decent too.

The main thing about the Butcher (and VTM) headshell is that it's built to survive nuclear war, and thus weighs like 35 lbs by itself, with the amp pulled out of it. These ****ers are heavy as **** on top of being ugly. That's why I might swap mine into another cab eventually..
