I also own the limited run Ironbird from BC Rich's Body Art series. Bought it with the intention to mod it to death but it just felt right & sounded way above average compared to the other entry-levels in the market (or the ones I own, at least) that it remained in its original incarnation till today. Splendid guitar.

I no longer own these, but they were all great guitars!

My Kramer 5150 replica project. Top components and woods, including an 80's Floyd, original early 80's C-series Kramer neckplate and EVH Frankie pup

It's got a custom wound JS Moore humbucker, mismatched coils 4k/7k,A5, sounds killer!

Body - Maple
Neck - Maple
Fretboard - Ebony
Frets - 22-stainless steel
Radius - Warmoth compound
Bridge - Washburn Wonderbar
Pickup - EMG 81X with Afterburner
Strings - EB 9-46
Controls - One volume knob (25K) with kill switch

Wow, that Wonderbar bridge looks really interesting, and even looks identical to a Kahler. You should hook it up to a Bogner-modded Marshall and play some Alice in Chains! :headbang:

I almost bought a kahler back in the day, but the Wonderbar did not need any routing at all and since this was my first build i wanted it to be somewhat easy.

You've been playing that Pacer quite a bit ever since you got it havn't you. I remember when you first posted it on KF a few years ago right after you bought it, that fingerboard wasn't like that! ;-)

That trans emerald green is such a kickass colour though and it being a Pacer Special, even better!

Haha yeah, I have logged a few hours on it now. :) Looks pretty clean again now though, did a little cleanup when changing the pickup a few days ago.
I don't regret spending quite a bit having it refretted with SS frets now, not even a sign of wear yet. :)

Ill have mine up soon, still have to shape the pickguard, you guys wil probably see it in the mockup mounting before I finish the paint, probably get a laugh from the color combo

Do SS fret make a big difference in the sound? You still using the 9-40 Fender 150XL's? I have a few packs left and restrung my Axis with it again and wondered why I ever left them to begin with.

Oh I understand. How well does it stay in tune and where did you get one? I might want to use one now.

I just got this up and running yesterday.

2007 Melody Maker. Routed it for a P-90, Faber compensated TP, Steel studs/bushings, bone nut...

A great stripped down little screamer. Very light and fun to play.

This is the only pic and it's pretty old. Now with a white bobbin-black pole Invader and after some buckle rash and a few dings I got a bit pissed off with it (and I was drunk, quite frankly :lmao:) and came across a sharpie. The tradition soon followed with my buddies and what-not so, it's a bit of a mess. Graffiti-like now...kinda. Heh...Maybe I'll post an updated pic soon.
