That's very hot. I've always dug the rootbeer finish. There's something about it that simply makes the figure in the maple jump out at you.

yeah...they do make the wood grains stand out, but not in a flashy way...it absolutely fits a Les Paul perfectly!

someone please talk me out of selling my 2001 White blonde p-bass that has the absolute perfect amount of grain showing through...i mean i'm a "bass player" after all...without a bass amp though...lol...i'm kinda tired of being in defunkt bands...it would be nice to just have something that i would cherish and keep forever...although i think that about my p-bass right now?!?!?!?!?!?

Those are both nice looking guitars, but there's a couple of things I don't like about them. The one on Ebay doesn't seem to have any flame on the upper portion of the guitar....and I looked at all the pics. The ones at guitarsale.com are stunning, but I absolutely can't stand that black binding and the other black appointments on them.

ya, I think so. I got my historic for about 65% of what they were asking. Call Cramer and ask him. the only guitars I think they weren't discounting were the real feel and cloud 9 historics. Oh ya, and any brazillian neck guitars that they had left.

i actually agree with you Jolly...especially the one on the bay...if that flame was everywhere it would be incredible...i would like it if the binding and stuff was cream on the other one, but even with that..it's an awesome paul!?...but i think the black would grow on me?! that's a heck of a deal too...on a 1 in 40 guitar though...still...it's wearing on me as i sit here an look at my p-bass...?! also...i can't get it unless i can sell my Moore and my p-bass...which i don't know if i can sell them both quick enough to cover it..ya know?

the more i think about it...the more i think you're right jolly...if it were a standard with cream...i'd go for it...or if it were a supreme (which i couldn't afford if i sold all my guitars and amps) but i'm a little off on the black accents...if they have a standard in a couple of months and they'll come down like they are now on their prices...my wife said i could snag one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then i won't have to sell anything...she said i could take her first couple of checks and just buy one!!!!!

(tells self...must...have...patience grasshopper...must have patience for one of these...)
and the only other color i really like is the trans black...so i'm open to those too...i don't know which models come in that though...has to have a 50's neck...?!
