Nothing special. Taken the cheap ES335 style guitar and had the guts replaced with Ibanez bits (humbuckers/pots). Gave it a good play today and it's just perfect, for me.

Paint and clear coat on...time to wait a couple of weeks for nitro to cure some...then sand and polish...

I was actually hoping that builders would be using ebony more and more seeing as how rosewood has all the restrictions now. Doesn’t seem to be the case though. Unfortunately

Is that a 2 1/4” neck pocket on those?
I’ve been “shopping” around for an F1000 or similar and will probably end up ordering a neck from MM or Warmoth.

No; the ESP manufactured Kramer bodies are about as snug of a 2 3/16” Fender Standard Neck Pocket as you could hope for. Fits Warmoth perfectly. The older USA Kramer Bodies tend to be closer to 2 1/4”.
