Why are Hyperion's not available?

I'm sure they would be a massive success and would become one of the best selling pickups, yet they are not available for sale, why is that?

They’re exclusive to Ibanez. Dimarzio does that frequently with Music Man. It’s less common with Duncan as far as I know.

Speaking of Hyperion humbucker, some people find it's not the right pickup for them. You may find one in used market. Or get Pegasus. They're close.

Generally they are not available due to agreements between the guitar manufacturer and the guitar builder. However, if you do some digging, you can find the production models they are based on, and get those.

The sentient and the Pegasus are the basis for the Hyperion pickups. I’m not sure yet about what the singles are based on.

I took mine out. I much prefer my Gravity Storm and Injector. I still have the Hyperion middle but just to save money - I really never use the middle pickup on this guitar.

My guess is that it does. That would be common with many OEM-specific models. But I hear the Pegasus is close. There are also people that take them out of their guitar and sell them, so be patient and you might find them out there.
