I was going through an old G1 magazine, and I found a transcription of "Breezin". I'd heard his name before, but I'm really glad I sat down and listened to him.
I LOVE this guy's phrasing--he's got just the right mix of jazzy phrasing and blues sensibility. His playing is a little more mainstream sounding than other blues/jazz guys like Wes Montgomery, but I think he deserves just as much credit. The guy's got a voice, too.
