Re: Why Did You Buy Your Amp?
I got my Marshall cab because it was my uncle's and he sold it and a 100w NMV Marshall head to me for $500.
I got my Marshall because it sounded the best. I traded around a bunch of different Marshalls until I ended up with this one. It sounded the most "full" with bottom, mid and top as well as the gain it produces.
I got my Park because it was a Park. I wasn't all that thrilled with the sound until I had it all tuned up. Now it sounds really great.
I got my Falcon... more or less for the reverb. Although I rarely use the reverb- I still have it because it is a unique sounding amp.
I got my SWR head because it sounded awesome... It crushes, it doesn't weigh a whole lot, it has seperate volumes for 2 cabs in "stereo" mode.
I got my SWR cabs because they were a hella deal for the trade of my 1965 Esquire.
I got my SWR 2x15 cab because I loved the sound of my 15 from the other SWR cabs.
