I dislike it....if I want more open sounds, I prefer either maple our Pau Ferro.

I've been pining for a mahagony strat for over a year, since GC had some special. I needed a Tele more to complement my Parkers. I'm content letting a mahagony strat "get away". But if you can scape the funds together, that guitar is a beaut!

they've got a similar mohogany model but in a tele. those are even harder to find, but there are a few out there. same red paint job, black headstock, and everything.
