Why no DC LP Bodies?

Re: Why no DC LP Bodies?

i don't like the lp because of that

i like the sg first
so my next lp will be a hp or a double cutaway
or it will be a PRS lol

Re: Why no DC LP Bodies?

Hmmm... not bad. I wonder if they'd do it for two humbuckers instead of just the single P90? [emoji848]

You could always rout it out for two buckers.

Or you could buy the single cut LP and cut the top bout for another cutaway.

My only problem with that is that I don't own a router, and especially that I have exactly zero woodworking skills! [emoji33][emoji12]

Just a bit of fair warning/advice: if you order from a non-Fender licensed company/individual (I.E. Warmoth, Allparts, etc.) you may have issues with the spacing and intonation. (found out the hard way personally)

If you lived near me i would do it for you for nothing. :D

Re: Why no DC LP Bodies?

many players don't like the LP because of it's not a double cutaway
try a sg : you will see the difference !!

so,Gibson has the lp classic and standard double cutaway if we want

Re: Why no DC LP Bodies?

Well, I found a body on the cheap through GuitarFetish's Factory Buyout Clearance. It's not a LP double-cut, but it's similar-ish. Gonna require a lot of sanding & finishing, but that's okay... for $24 I'll take it!

Just looking at it, I'm thinking this one's gonna get painted instead of stained & finished.

I'm also thinking that this one might be a good excuse to try out the Saturday Night Specials! :fing2:
