Why not A-2 "Hot" single coils?

I may be misreading the spec sheet, but why doesn't SD make a "hot" version of the Tele and Strat single coils with Alnico II magnets? Has anyone ever tried something like that from Duncan or another maker?

Thanks,
Dave

The Antiquity Texas Hot Custom bridge for Strats is an overwound alnico 2 single coil measuring between 9.5 and up to 10K. And the neck and middle pickups in that set are wound on the strong side of vintage too.

I wish they would make a hot A2 Tele lead pickup in the regular or Antiquity line. The JD comes close, but 9K to 10K would be nice. However, I just put an STL-2 Hot Tele lead with A5 mags in my American Tele HS, and so far it sounds extremely good with a nice toothy midrange, smooth highs and thumpin' bass. Combined with the Fender Atomic II HB at the neck, this is one deep and full sounding Tele -- but still a Tele tone in the bridge and middle positions. But I digress...
