wich pickups for cij jazzmaster

hallo,

i am new her and my english is not so good. but i need help and thats why i try it.
i have a japanese jazzmaster (cij) and i will replace the pickups.

now i dont know, what sd-pickups are the best for me.

i like the sound of music iof: blur, radiohead, joy division, the cure (early).

i use a fender twin amp and the japanese pu sounding a little bit thin and too bright for me. not enough bass.

what pickups are the best? sjm-1 or the sjm-2 (hot) or the quarter pounder?
maybe the antiques? and can they be mixed? for example a sjm-2 hot in the neck-position and a quarterpounder in the bridge-position or is`nt it no good for the sound?

welcome to the forum!!

you can mix most pickups with no problem. i think the quarter pound jazzmaster might be a good choice for those bands

but i have a question to the quarter pound. are they warm enough for a good clean sound?
