Listening on monitors, the rhythm guitar does seem a bit too forward in the mix to my ears, particularly when the riff starts around 0:55. I would push that section of the track down a bit or bring the vocals up a tiny bit and see what that does to the mix...just a suggestion.

I do like the way the guitar bridge/solo pops at 1:45, though. But then that same riff I mentioned above takes over at 2:04 and again feels a bit strident.

Again, just an opinion.


Overall, a very cool song and sound for sure!

Yeah, our recording setup is sub par but we gotta work with what we got. It’s our best mix so far, by a longshot.
