The Dimebucker does play well with others. Dimebag used the Dimebucker with a '59 in the neck. I use an SD Jazz with mine which is very similar to the '59. I prefer the way the Jazz takes to distortion, but that is individual preference. I think any PAFish type of pickup should work fine. The WLH will work but will be a bit more powerful and darker than the Jazz of '59. Which can be fine depending on what kind of tone you are chasing.

What is your end game? What are you trying to accomplish tone wise? And what kind of guitar are these going in?

I’m looking for a Heavy, fast and precise distortion With a classic rock/blues clean sound, I was thinking of putting them in a Dean Black Bolt ML

I think you are on the right track. The WHL neck is very thick, I have one in my Les Paul. You can squeeze almost any classic rock/blues tone out of that pickup. I think you will have a killer set once they are installed.

I installed a Dimebucker between two Seymour Duncan Vintage P90 soapbars on a Black Korina Warmoth Tele body build. I added a Warmoth roasted Swamp Ash reverse headstock Tele neck with a Rosewood fretboard. Where the P90s are robust and in-your-face, the Dimebucker is clear and articulate. When you combine the Dimebucker with either the neck or bridge pickups you get the combination of articulate with kick-@$$ tones.

Thanks a lot for the help! I am now 100% sure, I’m pretty sure it will be a killer set! Thanks again
